The printed T-shirt used for advertising is a kind of clothing that many large enterprises are very keen on. Printing corporate logos or advertising slogans on clothes is always the choice of many companies. Other group activities also require collective customization of printed T-shirts. So how can we choose the appropriate printing process to print patterns or words? Today, I will introduce some common printing processes for you to have a preliminary understanding of these printing processes. At present, the customized printing process of personalized T-shirts mainly includes offset printing, silk screen printing, heat transfer printing, and digital direct injection.
T-shirt printing process – offset printing
Because of the cohesion of “glue” with a certain coverage rate, it can be printed on dark fabrics, and has a certain gloss and three-dimensional sense, making ready-made clothes look more high-grade. Therefore, it is widely used in the printing of T-shirt patterns. But in terms of hand feel, there are always some unsatisfactory places. Generally, the lower the price of glue, the worse the hand feels. The patterns and patterns printed by offset printing are flat and have no three-dimensional feeling. Fortunately, the price of offset printing is close to the people, and the printing cost is relatively low.
T-shirt printing process – silk screen printing
The average material cost of screen printing is low, the use of good ink is not limited to any fabric, and there is no fading at all. It is well known that silk screen printing can only print one color at a time. Then for multi-color printing, it is necessary to carry out complex and cumbersome color registration! There are relatively few technicians in this field. It is OK to have fewer colors. If you need to print four or five colors at a time, it is inevitable that there will be inaccurate chromaticity. In this way, the scrap rate of products is increased, and the cost is correspondingly increased.
T-shirt printing process — heat transfer printing
Transfer printing is a printing process that relies on the sublimation of dyes and the diffusion and affinity of dye vapors to fibers to complete the coloring effect. Transfer printing is a practical printing and dyeing method in anhydrous processing. In addition to not using water, there is also a major feature that the paper deformation is small, so it can print fine multi-level patterns and photographic pictures. Transfer the pattern picture to the cloth realistically. Its effect is sometimes better than the general discharge printing.
One-piece can be printed, and the whole image can be printed at one time without printing separately according to the color. High definition, high-definition photo patterns can also be easily printed. Printing multi-color or color photo patterns on non-cotton fabrics such as sportswear is cheap and does not fade at all. However, there are requirements for fabrics. Fabrics that are not resistant to high temperatures (such as silk and some non-woven fabrics) cannot be printed. For pure cotton fabrics, special transfer paper is required. The printing position has a hard hand feel. Of course, it will be much better after washing once. After washing many times, there will be slight color fading on pure cotton.
T-shirt printing process – digital direct spray
Digital direct injection is mostly used for printing patterns. Its equipment mainly includes computers, direct injection printers, color fixing equipment, corresponding design software, and color separation software. The process includes drawing, color matching, spray printing, and color fixation. The colored patterns can be printed in a few minutes with bright colors. It is applicable to any material and has a wide range of compatibility; No plate making, convenient printing, and low cost, various output software can be used to support various file formats; The full-color image is completed in one time, and the gradient color completely achieves the photo quality effect, with accurate positioning. It is completed in one step to meet the needs of fast-acting and finished products. It is equipped with professional color management software, which can be modified at any time.
