UV printers are becoming more and more popular in the market, but the printing speed of this kind of printer has always been the bottleneck. In fact, to improve the productivity of UV printers, we can improve them from hardware to software. Improving the printing speed of UV printers will directly improve the printing efficiency, and also determine the market share of UV printers.
So, how to improve the speed of the printer? We will introduce five methods: hardware upgrade, computer hardware upgrade, software setting, auxiliary mold, and nozzle emergence setting.
Method 1: hardware upgrade
Upgrading from civil sprinkler to industrial sprinkler, from the middle-end of the industrial sprinkler to high-end, etc. In addition, the number of nozzles also directly affects the printing speed, and the number of nozzles is expanded. For example, the original four-color plus one white five nozzles are changed to 10 nozzles, and two four-color plus two white. Another example is that the sprinkler has been greatly improved from the Epson sprinkler to the Ricoh sprinkler, and the speed can be doubled several times.
Method 2: upgrading computer hardware
When drawing, you need to use PS, AI, and other software to improve the computer configuration, especially the memory of the PC, which can well improve the drawing speed. In addition, by improving the computer configuration, the data transmission between the computer and the device can be effectively improved to avoid equipment jamming during UV printing.
Method 3: software setting
Generally, it is needed to change the printing mode of UV printers. Sketch mode speed > production mode speed > high precision mode speed > ultra-high precision mode speed; After the user’s requirements for pattern color can be met, the production mode speed or sketch mode speed can be selected as much as possible, which can greatly improve the production efficiency. At the same time, two-way printing is twice as fast as one-way printing.
Method 4: auxiliary mold
In mass printing production, whether it is feeding, positioning, or picking up these links. It’s a waste of time if you need to manipulate them one by one manually. At this time, it is necessary to make 2 sets of special molds for the material itself. After such a set is placed, when printing, the other set is placed with the substrate in advance. It can realize the continuous printing of UV flat-panel printers, and greatly reduce the delay time between loading and unloading.
Method 5: emergence setting
For the new nozzle that has just been replaced, the blur degree of printing can be reduced, so the printing speed can be several times faster. After the nozzle is used for a period of time, if the pass channel is obvious, the blurs can be increased. Although the speed is reduced, the effect will be fine when the time comes. The nozzle can still be used, reducing the cost of replacing the nozzle.
